Xpose is a 24 hr experience for:
- Global Xposure teams as part of their training
- Youth and young adult groups who want a short, cross cultural experience in their own backyard.
Global Interaction staff and volunteers partner with Global Xposure leaders or youth pastors to xpose young people to other cultures and ways of life in their own city. Participants will see the work being done in building bridges between different cultures and subcultures, and reflect on their own community and implications for mission in their context and beyond.
Size groups are ideally between 6-12 people
Age 15 yrs and over
Cost approx. $10 per person covers food and accommodation
Time 24hrs e.g. Friday afternoon-Saturday afternoon

Examples of Xpose in Sydney
Cabramatta – Mission in an Asian context
Xpose includes an urban walk, Biblical reflection, visit to a community garden, local churches and temples, hearing people’s stories and learning language. Learn about refugees, migrants and community development.
Bankstown – Mission amongst Muslim communities
Xpose includes Biblical reflection, a Muslim meal, visit to a mosque, prayer walk, praying 5 times a day, hearing people’s stories and an optional billet by locals. Learn about Muslim perceptions of Christians, appropriate food and dress and Muslim worldview.
Inner City – Mission amongst the poor and marginalised
Xpose includes an urban walk, Biblical reflection, eating with the homeless, participation in street church, sleeping out and hearing people’s stories.
Learn about homelessness, mental illness, gambling addiction, drug and alcohol abuse and sex work. |
